Today we talked about the cell cycle and Mitosis! After notes, we made a cell cycle foldable and then did a cell cycle coloring. Homework is to complete 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 in the cloud packet on a separate sheet of paper.

Today we started a new unit: Cell Reproduction. We talked about the differences between Asexual and Sexual Reproduction and looked at some examples of each. Homework is to finish the cell cycle vocabulary which is Due TOMORROW!
Today is quiz day! We setup our binders, reviewed, then took the quiz! After the quiz, we worked on Cell cycle vocabulary which is due on THURSDAY 10.12
Today we took notes on Cellular respiration. We then did a lab where we tested our muscle strength after several trials of pinching a clothespin! Then we compared and contrasted photosynthesis and respiration to prepare for our QUIZ TOMORROW!
Current event friday! We journaled for 20 minutes, then we did an experiment with BTB and Elodea! While we were waiting for our results, we talked about different experiments that famous scientists had done to study plants and their major discoveries. Homework was to finish up the lab questions and complete the first page in the review packet!
Today we talked about photosynthesis! We took notes, did a foldable, and then read a short article called Alotta Stomata and answered the questions on the back. If you didn't finish the article and questions, finish it for homework.
Today we started a new unit: Bioenergetics. We discussed how energy is necessary for all living things and flows through ecosystems. We talked about how important ATP is for life processes. Then we answered some questions on Energy in the Cell. Vocab is due today!
TEST DAY!
We reviewed, set up our binders, took the test, and had a notebook check. After the test, we worked on the Bioenergetics vocab which is due tomorrow! Today we finished our gummy bear labs from friday! After finishing our lab conclusions, we compared passive and active transport and reviewed homeostasis. Our quiz is tomorrow! Make sure you study and finish the review packet.
